About Patrick Witz

Patrick is an Accomplished Eclectic Photographer, Published Freelance Writer, Author, Artist, and Teacher. Patrick moved his family to the Northern California foothills to live among the trees, wild animals, and picturesque landscapes. Pat has been involved with photography since goofing-off in his High School photography class. He started with a used 35mm Minolta camera, wore out a few more 35mm cameras, and progressed into digital. His love of photography is evident in the volumes of photos seemingly documenting everything on film in the past and digitally today. Pat’s camera is always nearby, as his wife and daughters can both happily and sadly corroborate, “Dad’s taking pictures again!” His photos include…birth through...

Rrrose Pix
Cool entry! Good luck in the "I took a bad pic and played with it contest!
Patrick Witz replied:

Tim Allen
This is amazing!! Well done, Patrick. I like your response to Chuck above. LOL It would, indeed, look great on velvet.
Patrick Witz replied:
Thanks for the nice words Tim. I'm not sure if anyone is still producing those black-light velvet canvases anymore... LOL... we're sure dating ourselves.
Alanna Hug-McAnnally
Patrick - I have not idea how you did this, but it looks as if it's made of glass. Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.
Patrick Witz replied:
Thank you Alanna, it was a multi-step process that turned out far better than originally planned... as stated earlier, the colors really pop when printed on metalic paper.
Charles Ragsdale
Wow! Chuck
Patrick Witz replied:
Thank you Chuck... you should see this photo printed on metalic paper... a lady at an exhibit the other day said I should print it on velvet, my response, "Elvis might buy it and put it next to the poker playing dogs!" :-)
Jane Schnetlage
VEry cool colors!
Patrick Witz replied:
Thank you Jane.
